AT&T West Bargaining Bulletin #1
Today, both parties came to the table with opening statements. CWA District Vice President, Frank Arce emphasized fair compensation, improved working conditions and job security. Notably, Vice President Arce made it clear in his opening remarks that he expects the expiration date to be a firm deadline, underscoring the importance of timely and decisive negotiations.
AT&T Labor expressed a commitment to a collaborative negotiation process, highlighting the challenges and opportunities facing the Company. Following the opening statements, both sides engaged in preliminary discussions to identify common ground and understand each other's perspectives. These discussions set the stage for more in-depth negotiations in the coming days.
As we progress through the bargaining process, maintaining open communication, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit will be crucial. We anticipate that subsequent negotiation sessions will delve deeper into specific issues and potential solutions.
The Bargaining team would like to extend our gratitude to the CWA Locals for their unwavering support. Your dedication and commitment contribute significantly to the strength of our collective efforts.
