Let's Get EDF Together!
What is EDF Together?
EDF Together is the staff-led effort to unionize EDF’s employees. EDF Together’s mission is to champion the rights, well-being, and collective voice of workers at EDF, while empowering staff to enhance EDF’s impact toward a just and livable world. This name was chosen to express the collaborative nature of our work as climate professionals, as coworkers at EDF, and as staff forming a union together.

Know Your Rights
For eligible staff: It’s normal to be nervous about showing public support for a new union, but the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) protects your right to discuss working conditions, unionize, and take collective action. Organizing a union is protected in the U.S. under the NLRA, which shields workers from threats, retaliation, interrogation, promises contingent on union support or opposition, or surveillance of our activities while we organize our workplace. While this means that your manager – or any executive – shouldn’t ask you about your support for the union, it may happen (in good faith or otherwise). Review this Know Your Rights flyer, and please reach out for guidance about how to handle that situation and keep everyone safe in the process.
For ineligible staff who want to learn more: If you have questions, please visit our website FAQ page, or reach out to together4edf@gmail.com. We encourage managers to refrain from inquiring about the union to their direct reports, but you are welcome to ask questions at our Q&A sessions.
