Supporting SAG-AFTRA members

CWA members from Local 7011 join SAG-Aftra members along with other local unions on the picket line at Netflix Studios July 26th, 2023.  Early morning in front of the Netflix Studios in Albuquerque, NM, crowd started to form. Vehicles began to line the streets, loaded coolers could be seen by the tables that were set up by the sidewalk. Then it began.  Lines Formed and began to move, chants could be heard, and even in the heat, smiles could be seen on the faces of those walking the lines in support of a fair contract for the SAG-AFTRA members.  Residents from thte nearby subdivision showed their support with honks and thubs up. A good time was had by all.  I was asked by a friend after if it would make a differance.  I told them yes but not in the way they were probably thinking.  Will the studios care? Maybe not, but it shows that them members of SAG-AFTRA has support.  Supoort from each other, other unions, and the general public.  That is the differance it makes, the power to last one day longer, one day stronger.  We support SAG-AFTRA1
