CWA mourns the loss of one of our retirees

Sad news, for those of you who worked in Albuquerque, New Mexico... Bernice Geiger and her husband, Mark Geiger, passed away in a tragic car accident, last month. Bernice worked for Mountain Bell, US West, and Qwest for over 20 years.

The wife of one of our members, David Hambly from DirecTV, has has been stricken with accute liver/kidney failure. Currently she is needing dialysis and awaiting a liver transplant.

CWA Local 7011 is now a New Mexico local! Locals 7001, 7009, 7011, and 7037 have been discussing becoming one local in the state of New Mexico for many years. As of Agugust 1st, 2023 the locals have merged under 7011 to be come one.
