Schneps Media journalists have unionized!

The reporters and editorial staff at amNewYork, amNewYork Law, Brooklyn Paper, Brownstoner, Bronx Times, Dan's Paper, New York Family, Long Island Press, and QNS have overwhelmingly voted to unionize with IAPE Local 1096. We are now part of the NewsGuild.

What's going on

We won our union election and Schneps is now a union shop under IAPE Local 1096. We are now pushing our management to stop trying to push workers out of our union and meet us at the bargaining table.
