Marco Perez grew up in Spain and moved to New York City at the age of 19 with just a few dollars and a dream. Marco studied World Ancient History and worked in a Manhattan restaurant for a year, perhaps being the worst waiter ever. Shortly after, Marco worked for Marriott Hotel International and Sheraton's Starwood Hotels in various roles, ultimately becoming a hotel manager for two large Sheraton Hotels in Manhattan. Major roles included being in charge of multi million accounting for both properties as well as customer service for a 1000+ room complex.
Having managed dozens of employees in his hotel management years, Marco had a very good understanding about how hard it would be taking on a role as important as LEC President for New York.
Marco has always been a New York Flight Attendant since joining Pinnacle Airlines in 2010 and he has been based in both JFK & LGA.
Marco currently splits his time between USA and Spain. Flying with old friends and meeting new Flight Attendants on the line motivates him to continue to fight for better working conditions.
Laura Dal Monte - Vice President

Laura started her career as a Flight Attendant in 2010 with Pinnacle Airlines which then became Endeavor Air. Initially Laura was based in Atlanta for approximately 3 years and then she transferred to JFK base over 10 years ago.
In November 2022 Laura was elected by members of Council 45 to serve as their LEC Vice President.
Before becoming a flight attendant Laura worked for over 25 years in the Oil Industry in Venezuela as a Civil Engineer.
Laura was born in Venezuela from an Italian family.
During Laura’s entire school years she attended Spanish and Italian programs which allowed her to become completely fluent in Spanish and Italian. When Laura moved to the USA she attended an English education program and as a result is now able to read, write, and speak English, Spanish, and Italian fluently.
Laura likes to travel a few times a year to visit her family members who live abroad.
Judy McParland - Secretary

Judy's union journey started in 2016 when she became a union rep. and then became LEC Grievance Co- Chair in 2017. She was elected as LEC Secretary and had the privilege of being elected by the people of Local 45 serving JFk/ LGA .
Judy's main focus throughout the years is fighting for a better quality of life for Flight Attendants in NYC. All while never moving focus of ensuring that all Flight Attendants are represented while the contract CBA is followed and that their rights are never violated.
