Take Action Against Carrier of Last Resort!

Dear Members and Activists:

AB 470 will be heard by the Assembly Communications and Conveyance Committee on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 1:30 pm. Room 435, at the State Capitol.

We urge you take the time to contact the Assemblymembers on this Committee and let them know that you oppose AT&T's attempt to utilize the legislature to undo what the California Public Utilities Commission Ruled last year, "denying their Carrier of Last Resort Obligations".

The PUC Committee members need to hear from All CWA D9 Members. Thank you and Solidarity.

Script: I am with CWA Local ### in (City). I oppose AB 470 because this bill is AT&T's effort to eliminate its obligation to serve everyone in its service territory.  We stopped this bill last year and the CPUC denied AT&T's application. Please vote against AB 470 to keep home phone service for California's seniors and most vulnerable communities.
