Our First Memorandum Of Understanding With Our New Contract

Brothers and Sisters,

I am pleased to announce and share with our members our first MOU, Memorandum of Understanding, to go along with our new contract (Collective Bargaining Agreement - CBA) with the company, Goodman Communication Services LLC.

This MOU is for the Bridging Prior Service and is a result of the work of our Bargaining Team and the Installation Bargaining Unit Council and several factors that could effect current and past represented employees.  These factors include being laid off and being recalled, transitioned employee that resigns and then re-hires back on, or retirees of Acaltel-Lucent/Nokia that hire on and did not transition to the company (some examples would be a retiree that took a previous "SVTP" under the 2014/2015 Shift Plan in a base location that was depopulated and hires on with the company, or a retire that just simply retired in December of 2020 becuase Nokia forced us out and did not "transition over to Goodman").  This MOU will allow us to bridge our service and in my opinion is good for us all.  I am also providing a copy of this MOU with this news article, and I encourage you to download and save this copy for future reference.
