NOKIA BARGAINING REPORT #46

January 15, 2019

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Company and the Union resumed bargaining today. There were no proposals passed and the Company’s position to eliminate the bargaining unit apparently has not changed. Tomorrow we will have our long-awaited call with Andy Golby. It is our intention to express our vision of how the core Installers fit into Nokia’s future and our willingness to address the Company’s concerns of cost, flexibility and agility.

Please continue to mobilize. It is extremely important that the CEO of Nokia, Nokia’s Bargaining Chair, Nokia’s customers and your Legislators know that eliminating good Union jobs and putting Retirees' benefits at risk is BAD BUSINESS. Also check out and join Nokia’s Yammer Field Forces conversation. In addition, remember:  if you encounter quality issues with 3P Contractors or you are sent to clean up their mess, please send the information to the bargaining team:  cwalocal1090@yahoo.com.

Use this link to send an online letter to Nokia’s Ricky Corker, EVP of Americas, and Nokia’s Andy Golby, Head of Network Implementation of Americas, telling them to save American jobs and bargain in good faith!

One day longer, one day stronger!  An injury to one is an injury to all!  United We Stand.

Your Bargaining Team,

Mary Jo Reilly
