Nokia Bargaining Report #33
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today the Company and your Bargaining Team agreed to another 4 week extension of the current collective bargaining agreement. The new expiration date is October 27th. The Union believes this is our best options as we still wait for all of the outstanding data needed to provide us with the information necessary to put together comprehensive cost savings and flexibility proposals that address the needs of the Company and protects our Installers and retirees. We will not be bargaining next week to give the Company time to gather the information we need and to evaluate our other proposals.
It is more important than ever that while we continue to work on your behalf that you have patience and continue your mobilization efforts.
Here is a quote from Yammer – “There is never enough time or money to do it right the first time – But there’s always enough time and money to do it over”. Maybe this is really Nokia’s new slogan….. Please check out and join Nokia’s Yammer Field Forces conversation. Remember if you encounter quality issues with 3P contractors or, you are sent to clean up their mess please send the information to the bargaining team by emailing cwalocal1090@yahoo.com.
