Local 7590's Contract Explanation Meeting and Final Bargaining Report

Brothers and Sisters,

Last Monday September 14th, I emailed the membership the Final Bargaining Report.  As many of you were, I was somewhat shocked by this report.  In a conference call with Local President Only and the Bargaining Team last Monday, the Local Presidents and Bargaining Team agreed that each local should host their own Contract Explanation Meeting so that the members could have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about this exit from Nokia and a brand new contract with Goodman.

I am pleased to announce that Local 7590 will be hosting the Contract Explanation Meeting (confernce call) with members from the Bargaining Team attending.   I will also respectfully request that members from Local 7590 do not share this information with members from other locals, as each local is reponsible for hosting their own calls.  Also this will provide the members from each local more time for members to discuss their issues, concerns, and questions about this new contract with their local officers and bargaining team.
