CWA Local 7590 Election of Local Officers

Brothers and Sisters.

This is an election year for the Officers of CWA Local 7590.  In keeping in compliance with our Local's By-Laws the Election Committee mailed the call for nominations for Local Officers last Tuesday September 15th to the last home address on record with the Local to Active Members that are in Good Standing with the Local.

The Election Committee also recognizes the fact that our union members may be on temporary transfer and do not have access to their home addresses and has requested the call for nominations to be posted on our web page, please see below.  Please also note that per our Local's By-Laws only members in good standing can pariticipate in local elecections, if you are in default, three or more months deliquent with your union dues, you are no longer in good standing and if you send in a nomitation it will not be counted.

Also I would like to personally thank both Vinnie Harmon and Terry Brown, two Denver based members in good standing, for volunteering to serve on the Election Committee this year and working on both the election for local officers and our up and comming ratification vote.

CWA Local 7590 Call for Nominations

This is the official “Call for Nominations” for the elections of Officers for CWA Local 7590.

The election committee is taking nominations for the office of

President

Secretary/Treasurer

Vice President of the Utah Idaho Montana area.

Vice President of the Washington Alaska area.

Vice President of the Colorado Wyoming area.

Vice President of the Oregon area.

Vice President of the Southern California area.

Vice President of the Northern California Nevada Hawaii area.

All nominations must be in the Election Committee’s PO Box by October 1st, 2020!

No write in Candidates are allowed pe our By-Laws!  All candidates must be nominated in writing; self-nominations are Ok as long as they are in writing.

The Local President and Secretary/Treasurer shall be elected by the membership of the entire Local.

Only the respective members based in each designated jurisdiction, shall elect the Vice President in the area they represent.
