Use this link  on a daily basis to send an online letter to Nokia’s Ricky Corker, EVP of Americas and Nokia’s Andy Golby, Head of Network Implementation of Americas, telling them to save American jobs and bargain in good faith!

Work to Rule
• Work to the Rule by insisting on all notifications in our contract. Grievances for each improper notification.
• Work to rule by examining the vehicle for safety every day and reporting and writing up all safety issues at work locations. If the company refuses to correct safety issue, report them to OSHA.
• Working to rule by insisting on help when a job requires more than one installer.
• No out of hours communications via phone or computer. Next day assignments are to be received by end of the shift.
• Demand a copy of your Istar time ticket each week.
• Review your 1421 with your supervisor. CWA-25 Art 12, 3, (a) (1) “For any ACST with fifteen (15) or more years of Installation Service or any CST with twenty (20) years or more of Installation Service who is not recommended for reassignment to a higher approved job title, a developmental plan will be established by the Board.”
• Request and review your personnel file.
• Demand all PPE required to do your job safely, including prescription safety glasses, hand cleaner and bee spray for cell sites.
• Follow Ask Yourself principles, especially regarding MOP’s and training. Have you been trained to perform the job function you are doing? Do you have a copy of the MOP on site? Remember, installers have been disciplined and fired for not following MOP’s.
• Wear Red Shirts to show unity.

Work to the Transportation Rules
• Do not home garage company vehicles. Remember to put Local Assignment on time ticket to the location where company vehicle is picked up and returned.
• Do not carry tools or computers in your personal vehicle. Have all tools and equipment sent to jobs.
• Use local transportation if you have move from job to job. Using personal vehicles is not authorized or required by the company.
• Per the contract, (j) An Employee will not be assigned to an outlying Job Location unless transportation or communication is available to the Employee.

Work to the Rule, No Overtime
• No voluntary Overtime. The company enjoys passing out overtime as a reward, but it allows our work to be done by fewer and fewer installers. Many of these integrations could not even take place without OT, or at the minimum, driving on OT to get them done. Even our warehousing staff is asked to work OT to support 3rd party work.
