BARGAINING REPORT #13

July 5, 2018

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Company and your Bargaining Team resumed bargaining today. The Company announced that Tom Agelopoulos, the leader of Field Forces in North America, has accepted a position with the Fixed Networks. To date they have not identified a successor to the throne. The Company also reiterated that this in no way changes its direction to move to the 3P model and eliminate the bargaining unit.

We continue to have conversations over the 3P model and why it is in the best interest of the Company and their customers to have a core Installation field force that can do quality work better and safer than the 3P. Remember:  if you encounter quality issues with 3P contractors or are sent to clean up their mess please send the information to the bargaining team:  cwalocal1090@yahoo.com.

In addition, the Company provided data on the local assignment zone and potential cost savings, as well as responded to other data requests. We will be meeting tomorrow afternoon with the Senior Director of Benefits to discuss active healthcare.
