2019 US Benefits Annual Enrollment for Active CWA Represented Employees: December 3 – 14, 2018
As you are aware, the collective bargaining agreement between Nokia and the Communications Workers of America (CWA) expired on May 26, 2018 and was extended through October 27, 2018.
While negotiations continue, you will be given an opportunity to make your health and welfare benefit elections for 2019 by calling the Nokia Benefits Resource Center (NBRC) at 888-232-4111 between 9:00 AM EST on Monday, December 3, 2018 and 5:00 PM EST on Friday, December 14, 2018. There will be no on-line enrollment for your 2019 benefit elections and late enrollments will not be accepted.
Subject to the final outcome of negotiations with the CWA, the cost of your 2019 health and welfare benefits will remain the same as in 2018, except for dependent life insurance (both spouse life and child life), which will have a slight increase, as reflected in the table below. You may enroll in, change or drop dependent life insurance at any time during the year. Note: spouse life enrollments/increases may be subject to evidence of health requirements.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Effective January 1, 2019, you can contribute up to $2,650 per year to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HFSA). This is a $50 increase from the current $2,600 annual contribution limit. The annual contribution limit for the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DFSA) remains at $5,000 for 2019. Your 2018 FSA elections do not carry over into 2019. You must call the NBRC during between 9:00 AM EST on December 3rd and 5:00 PM EST on December 14th if you want to make FSA contributions in 2019.
If you do not contact the NBRC between 9:00 AM EST on December 3rd and 5:00 PM EST on December 14th to make elections for 2019, your 2018 health and welfare benefit elections will continue in 2019, except for your FSA elections.
Employees who call to make elections during the enrollment window will be mailed a Confirmation of Enrollment statement upon enrollment. Employees who take no action and allow their coverage to default as described above will receive a Confirmation of Enrollment statement after the enrollment window closes; these will mail no later than December 21, 2018.

During this enrollment period you are also entitled to enroll, disenroll or make changes to your current coverage for the following voluntary benefit programs made available to you by Added Benefits:

Note: there will be no rate changes for 2019.
