Black Lives Matter
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As trade unionists and as Americans, we were all outraged by the vicious murder of George Floyd. We are heartened by the uprising of hundreds of thousands of Americans, Black, Brown and white, demanding an end to racism and declaring: “Black Lives Matter.”
Because of Covid-19, it has been difficult for many of us to show our solidarity with this movement.

BARGAINING REPORT #10 CENTURYLINK OF MISSOURI Local 6300, 6311, 6312 & 6373

April 17, 2020

This is to inform the membership that the Tentative Agreement for a two year extension has RATIFIED.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of millions of working people and our families, and the labor movement has been working tirelessly to limit the impact of this crisis on our health and livelihoods. We worked to make sure the relief packages Congress recently passed put the needs of working families and our communities first.

Many of our members continue to work and are essential workers during COVID-19. Our CWA brothers and sisters who work for the state are part of this group of essential workers.

Unlike our private employers, who we have been working with to negotiate protections for our members, public workers in Missouri are under the governor's jurisdiction. And MO Governor Parson is not doing enough to protect our members.
