Local 3808 Monthly Drawings
March, 2010 Local 3808 has two drawings each month. There are three $25 door prizes draw from the names of those members present. Congratulations go to our February winners, John Wireman, Debbie Sisco and Noah Savant. In the General Membership Drawing, had William J. Vokes of Hermitage, TN been present, he would have won $200. Next month, the prize will increase to $250. In November, 2007, the Local began a monthly drawing from the entire membership. The prize started with $100, and increased $50 per month until we had a winner. In July, 2008, Cleo Duckworth won the drawing and received $500. In December, 2009, we had our 2nd winner, Walter T. Lavender of Kingston Springs. He won $900. Remember, the only way you can win is to be present for the monthly meeting on April 6th at 7:00 PM. See you next month!
Trouble accessing and Loading Our Website?
February 24, 2010 We have had reports from several of you concerning excessive start-up times and, when it does open up, all you get is text, no color and no links. Basically, not very pleasing to the eye and not useful. This has occured when trying to access the website from Company computers. Accessing from other locations has been ok. The IT Committee thinks this is due to some conflict between our site and the Company's internet security settings. The IT Committees expresses it's regret that you are having this problem and they are investigating possible solutions. For the time being, please access us from non-Company sources, i.e.- home computer, iPhones, laptops with personal wifi connections. Thank you for your understanding. The IT Committee
